In this role you will help to develop and deliver communications to UK Finance members, including the production of core member communications products. The Campaigns and Member Communications team is responsible for:
- Developing and delivering communications to UK Finance members, including the production of core member communications products.
- Developing and delivering campaigns on behalf of the banking and finance industry, including Take Five to Stop Fraud and Don’t Be Fooled.
You will also lead on the Don’t Be Fooled campaign which aims to inform people about the risks of giving out their bank details and deter them from becoming money mules. Your time will be equally split across member communication and campaign activities. Close engagement with the wider Corporate Affairs team and other UK Finance colleagues will also be an important part of the role.
Some key responsibilities:
- Support the development and delivery of UK Finance’s member communications, including the production of core member communication products. This includes:
- Supporting on the execution of the member communications strategy.
- Working with the Director, Campaigns and Member Communications and colleagues from Corporate Affairs to write and produce media, articles, blogs, newsletters, website, social media and other communications content.
- Working with the Director, Campaigns and colleagues from Corporate Affairs to produce core member communication products. This may include the CEO newsletter and wider member communications from the CEO or Chair; member brochure and other corporate documents; and forewords and speeches from the CEO/Chair.
- Working with the Director, Campaigns and Member Communications to liaise across the business to join up member communications.
- Horizon scanning for opportunities to communicate to members.
- Identifying engaging and effective ways, platforms and places to reach our target audiences.
- Work with other members of the Campaigns team to deliver innovative campaigns, in particular the Don’t Be Fooled campaign. This includes:
- Being the day-to-day lead for the Don’t Be Fooled campaign.
- Using insights and expertise to build and execute campaign plans for Don’t Be Fooled, and any other campaigns as required by the business, that achieve the objectives of the campaign in an engaging and effective way.
- With the support of the Director, Campaigns, managing budgets and procurement processes for campaign activities.
- Producing clear briefs for external agencies, setting out the work required of them and managing their delivery.
