The Campaigns and Member Communications team is responsible for developing and delivering communications to UK Finance members, including the production of core member communications products. The team also develops and delivers campaigns on behalf of the banking and finance industry, including Take Five to Stop Fraud and Don't Be Fooled.
In this role, you will help to develop and deliver communications to UK Finance members, including the production of core member communications products. You will also lead on the Don't Be Fooled campaign, which aims to inform people about the risks of giving out their bank details and deter them from becoming money mules. Your time will be equally split across member communication and campaign activities. Close engagement with the wider Corporate Affairs team and other UK Finance colleagues will also be an important part of the role.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of UK Finance’s member communications, including the production of core member communication products.
- Support the execution of the member communications strategy.
- Work with the Director, Campaigns and Member Communications and colleagues from Corporate Affairs to write and produce media, articles, blogs, newsletters, website, social media and other communications content.
- Produce core member communication products, including the CEO newsletter, member brochure, and other corporate documents.
- Liaise across the business to join up member communications.
- Horizon scanning for opportunities to communicate to members.
- Identify engaging and effective ways, platforms and places to reach target audiences.
- Work with other members of the Campaigns team to deliver innovative campaigns, particularly the Don't Be Fooled campaign.
- Be the day-to-day lead for the Don't Be Fooled campaign.
- Use insights and expertise to build and execute campaign plans that achieve the objectives of the campaign in an engaging and effective way.
- Manage budgets and procurement processes for campaign activities with the support of the Director, Campaigns.
- Produce clear briefs for external agencies, setting out the work required of them and managing their delivery.
- Use success metrics and measurement to demonstrate campaign effectiveness and identify future improvements.
- Produce media, articles, blogs, newsletters, website, podcasts and social media content related to the campaigns.
- Engage with UK Finance members on campaign activity, including proposals, updates and evaluations.
- Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the development and execution of team activities.
- Engage with and present to UK Finance members on team activity.
