Working in the Digital and Design team within the Content team. The candidate will be responsible for a range of Digital channels operated by UK Finance. They will use their expertise to support the purpose of UK Finance, including its commercial ambitions. The candidate will be empowered to produce high quality work, that is accurate, on-brand, accessible and produced within the required deadlines. This role is a key part of the team and the candidate will contribute to how the team operates and the work it delivers, looking for opportunities for continuous improvement and proactively sharing ideas.
The candidate should have a proven track record of managing digital platforms including websites and CRM-integrated marketing tools.
Key Responsibilities- Responsibility for the operational side of the UK Finance website, both day to day but also the operational implementation of the overall website strategy.
- Own the audit process for content on UK Finance’s corporate website, working with colleagues to ensure that content is accurate and engaging for members and stakeholders, making SEO recommendations where necessary.
- Ownership of the UK Finance intranet, working with colleagues to deliver the content strategy and the direction of its future development.
- Production of analytic reports to provide insight to the performance of digital channels, translating raw data into "So What?" insights—providing clear recommendations on improving content and the user experience.
- Work in collaboration with marketing colleagues to optimise the events and training user journeys from website to CRM.
- Act as a central point of contact for digital requests, expertly balancing competing priorities from various departments.
- Work with our planning lead to ensure our publication process is optimised and meets our content publishing standards.
- Act as an ambassador for the Content team, ensuring the UK Finance brand is used correctly across digital channels and that published materials are compliant with brand guidelines.
- Proven experience of managing multiple websites, Drupal and WordPress CMS experience is essential.
- Proficiency on the use of website analytics (GA4) as well as experience using Google Tag Manager and Looker Studio.
- A solid understanding of U/X and SEO best practices, accessibility (WCAG), and basic HTML/CSS for troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in creating responsive email templates, managing marketing lists within ClickDimensions/Dynamics 365.
- Experience of using ClickDimensions or similar EMS.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, together with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to draft engaging, digital optimised content for a targeted audience whilst adhering to UK Finance writing and style guides.
- Highly organised and effective at managing time and balancing many short and long-term priorities on a day-to-day basis.
- Able to juggle conflicting priorities to deliver the best results for the organisation.
- Creative thinker – ability to find identify creative solutions – able to identify and exploit opportunities.
- Determined, enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
- Rigorous attention to detail and high standards in all work.
UK Finance operates a Hybrid working policy, you will be required to be in the office a minimum of 2 days per week. Applicants must legally have the right to reside and work in the UK.
