UK Export Finance (UKEF), the UK’s export credit agency, is looking for a Corporate Affairs Lead to play a pivotal role in strengthening our external relationships and supporting UK businesses to succeed internationally.

As a key member of the Corporate Affairs team, you will lead UKEF’s engagement with priority stakeholders, particularly our UK banking partners, ensuring relationships are strategic, coordinated and aligned to organisational objectives.

You will own and develop UKEF’s Strategic Relationship Management framework, helping senior leaders and Ministers maximise the value and impact of external engagement.

This is a high‑profile role operating at the heart of UKEF’s reputation, influence and stakeholder strategy.

You will work across organisational boundaries, collaborating with colleagues across UKEF, government departments and industry partners to ensure engagement activity is insight‑led, measurable and delivers tangible outcomes for exporters, SMEs and UK growth.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading and shaping relationships with UKEF’s most important external partners.
  • Designing and delivering engagement programmes, events, roundtables and senior stakeholder visits.
  • Advising senior leaders on stakeholder sentiment, emerging risks and strategic opportunities.
  • Coordinating Ministerial and executive‑level engagement activities.
  • Influencing colleagues across UKEF to align stakeholder engagement with corporate priorities.
  • Developing frameworks, insights and performance measures that demonstrate impact and value.
  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation in engagement approaches, including the use of AI and digital tools.

What we’re looking for

You will bring strong stakeholder management experience, excellent judgement, political and commercial awareness, and the ability to influence confidently at senior levels.

You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment and have a track record of delivering strategic engagement that produces measurable outcomes.

If you’re excited by the opportunity to shape high‑impact relationships, influence senior decision‑makers and help support UK exporters, we’d love to hear from you.
