We have an exciting opportunity to join UKEF’s Portfolio Management Division to manage a high-impact post-signature book of c.135 medium/long-term civil and defence transactions with £30bn net of reinsurance. Reporting to the Head of PIM & UK Content, you’ll shape outcomes on complex, cross-border deals that support UK jobs and exports.
Responsibilities:
- Lead recommendations on waivers, consents and amendments for large, sophisticated cases (incl. project finance).
- Analyse, negotiate and document issues with borrowers, agents/lenders and external counsel.
- Work with international ECAs as lead insurer or reinsurer; represent UKEF in high-stakes meetings.
- Monitor UK Content and portfolio performance, applying sound commercial judgment within policy and legal frameworks.
- Manage at least one SEO direct report—setting direction, coaching and ensuring performance.
