The job
The Paramedic Clinical Supervisor provides expert on-scene clinical leadership, operational support, and mentorship to frontline emergency crews, and Urgent Care Crews.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

Provide immediate, constructive feedback and debriefs following challenging or critical incidents to support staff well-being and clinical development.

Conduct real-time, field-based clinical assessments and performance reviews of staff through shift attachments and ride-alongs.

Review electronic Patient Care Reports (ePCRs) for accuracy, clinical reasoning, and compliance with national guidelines (e.g., JRCALC, NICE).

Address and escape operational or safety issues in the field, including vehicle, equipment, or drug security discrepancies.

Ensure all clinical staff comply with infection prevention and control (IPC) standards and health and safety regulations while on the road.

Support the investigation of clinical incidents, near-misses, or complaints, providing objective reports and identifying learning opportunities.

Communicate with patients, relatives, colleagues, members of other emergency services, the public and other healthcare professionals

1. +2 year HCPC Registration

2. Currently Practising in a paramedic frontline Role

3. Mentoring Experience - Mentoring qualification is Desirable

3. You will have a knowledge of current operational procedures and clinical practices in addition to awareness of health & safety legislation.

4. Your personal attributes will include reliability, conscientiousness, enthusiasm and self-motivation.

5. The ability to work under pressure and as part of a team will be relied upon.

6. Interpersonal skills and the ability to interact in a clam and professional manner will be second nature to you.

7. A full, UK , current ,driving licence is necessary . A clean licence is preferred ( max no' of points = 3 ). All licence enforcements need to be declared on application . 8. This post is physically demanding . You must be able to lift ( together with a colleague ) a minimum of c11 stone/ 70kg

9. We will require a satisfactory criminal record check ( DBS ) to show that you are suitable for this type of work.
