Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and data-driven Video Content & Operation Assistant to produce engaging and conversion-focused short videos for the UK study abroad sector. You will be responsible for the full cycle of content creation, distribution, and performance analysis across major Chinese short‑video platforms.
Key Tasks
- Short Video Content Planning & Production (Lead-Driven Content)
Create compelling short videos around UK study abroad topics such as visas, application processes, and student life—content that is both engaging and conversion-oriented. Independently develop creative scripts, shooting plans, and editing workflows to produce videos that make students want to inquire immediately. - User Acquisition & Conversion
Utilize short‑video platforms (WeChat Channels, Douyin, Bilibili, Xiaohongshu, Kuaishou, etc.) to increase exposure, attract target students, and guide them to consultation channels. Track video performance metrics (views, inquiry clicks, comment conversions, etc.) to optimize lead generation effectiveness. - Trend Insight & Content Optimization
Deeply understand the interests and pain points of Chinese international students, identify trending topics, and build sustainable video series that attract followers. Continuously improve content structure, captions, visual style, and pacing to increase click‑through and conversion rates. Possess strong market sensitivity to anticipate trends and adapt content strategies flexibly. - Cross‑department Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with marketing and admissions teams to integrate video content into inquiry and enrollment processes, creating a closed‑loop from content to conversion. Communicate ideas, progress, and data insights clearly and effectively. - Asset Management & Workflow Efficiency
Manage a structured video asset library to ensure reusable materials and fast turnaround. Participate in content scheduling to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality videos. - Additional Tasks
Support other operational, content, or project‑related tasks as assigned by the Line Manager (Marketing and Channel Development Manager), adapting to shifting priorities as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above, Broadcasting and hosting‑related majors are preferred.
- Familiar with Chinese short‑video platforms (Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Bilibili, Kuaishou, etc.) and user behavior.
- Prior experience in video production or operations within education, study abroad, or agency industries is preferred.
- Proficient in video shooting and editing software (Premiere, Final Cut, After Effects, CapCut, etc.).
- Able to analyze data to optimize content for lead generation and conversion.
- Highly creative, skilled at presenting complex study‑abroad information in an engaging and consult‑driven manner.
- Results‑oriented with strong execution ability; delivers high‑quality content on schedule and drives projects forward.
- Keen market insight; stays updated on industry trends and proposes forward‑looking content strategies.
- Adaptable to market changes and trending topics, able to adjust content plans to sustain lead generation.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
