Know Your Driving Experience

Be ready to discuss your driving history in detail. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, highlight any relevant experience with HGVs, especially if you've worked with curtainside, box, or flatbed vehicles. This shows you understand the job requirements.

Understand Load Securing

Since load securing is crucial for this role, brush up on best practices and regulations. Be prepared to explain how you ensure loads are secured safely during transport. This will demonstrate your commitment to safety and professionalism.

Flexibility is Key

Make sure to express your willingness to work weekends and nights out if required. Companies appreciate drivers who are flexible with their schedules, so let them know you’re open to various shifts and can adapt to their needs.
