Imperial College London invites applications for a 3-year PhD studentship funded by the Edmond J. Safra Foundation in Dr Cynthia Sandor’s group within the Department of Brain Sciences.
The project focuses on predicting insulin resistance from PBMC transcriptomes and applying the model to Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease cohorts. The work is computational and involves machine learning, single-cell and bulk transcriptomics, and rigorous cross-dataset validation.
