The Faculty of Medical Sciences brings together six UCL divisions and institutes – UCL Cancer Institute, Eastman Dental Institute, Division of Medicine, Division of Infection and Immunity, Division of Surgery and Interventional Sciences and the UCL Medical School. About the role: We are recruiting for an Education Coordinator to work in the Clinical and Professional Practice (CPP) and Quality Assurance and Enhancement (QAE) Team in UCL’s Undergraduate Medicine programme. This programme aims to qualify distinctive ‘UCL Doctors’ – highly capable, and patient‑centred clinicians, equipped to practise medicine in a professional, inclusive, and sustainable way, grounded in science and best practice.
CPP comprises 16 modules which run in each year of the MBBS programme. The team manages dedicated half day teaching sessions and CPP curriculum content integrated into core MBBS modules; oversees the Curriculum Maintenance cycle and manages the MBBS Curriculum Map which ensures our MBBS Intended Learning Outcomes are aligned with the General Medical Council’s Outcomes for Graduates; and supports and contributes to quality assurance activities.
The post holder will co‑ordinate tasks relating to overall CPP timetabling and teaching delivery for specific modules, manage CPP learning surveys, line‑manage a CPP Administrator, work collaboratively with the Academic and Deputy Academic Leads for CPP and support the activities of the CPP Module Leads.
The post is graded at GRADE 7, the annual salary for which ranges from £43,981 to £52,586 per annum (including London Allowance). This permanent appointment is available from 1 June 2026.

About you: The successful candidate will be an experienced education administrator, ideally educated to degree level or with equivalent professional experience. They are familiar with curriculum management and timetabling and confident in using and managing complex data with attention to detail and accuracy. Their communications and interpersonal skills are excellent and they are able to coordinate their own work, and supervise others, to manage workload and meet deadlines. They work as part of a team but are also able to work independently. Providing a high quality service is important to them and they proactively work to improve systems and process.
