UCL Biochemical Engineering seeks a Research Fellow in Machine Learning for Self-Optimising Bioprocesses as part of the Prosperity Partnership with Lonza Biologics. The role focuses on building self‑optimising ML algorithms, time‑series forecasting, and real‑time control loops to accelerate bioprocess optimisation.

The postholder will work across UCL and Lonza sites, handling high‑frequency data streams, pre-processing spectroscopy data, and predicting critical process parameters and quality.
