LCCOS holds the UK Customer Service Excellence (CSE) Award, The National Archives (TNA) Archives Service Accreditation, and Arts Council England Museum Accreditation. The combined staff in UCL LCCOS totals around 450. LCCOS is part of the Office of the UCL Vice-Provost (Faculties).

This role is part of Co-production and Public Engagement, a team which works to support culture change and create a culture of collaboration and conversation between the university and the wider public. The team includes the Co-Production Collective at UCL, the first co-production support service of its kind nationally, which has been co-created from scratch by hundreds of researchers, patients, carers, practitioners, students and others interested in co-production.

About the role

The Co-Production Manager will be a core part of the Co-Production Collective’s work to champion co-production and bring about lasting change. Our work is varied in terms of who we work with and the services we provide. Our projects include training and development, supporting communities of practice in co-production, co-production strategy development, and more. At the heart of all of this work is ensuring that our co-production community is involved and that we are genuinely working in equal partnership to create better outcomes for all. This role will be a great chance to learn and develop within the team. It will suit someone who is proactive, flexible, and passionate about our mission to create lasting change through co-production, alongside having strong communication and marketing skills, relationship development and project management skills.

This appointment is subject to UCL Terms and Conditions of Service for Research and Professional Services Staff.

About you

  • Excellent team working skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as both part of a multi-disciplinary team and on own initiative.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and accurately to a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop sustainable relationships with a diverse range of partners and organisations, including public and voluntary sector agencies, charities, schools and community groups.
  • Experience of applying project management principles to delivery of a programme of work.
