Within Student Support and Wellbeing Services (SSWS), UCL Study Abroad and International Student Support is responsible for the delivery of a programme of opportunities for students to gain global experience as part of their UCL studies. The team works to promote global student mobility across the institution, providing a range of services for students considering, preparing for, or undertaking an international placement.
About the role
The postholder will be required to deliver short‑term mobility opportunities for UCL students. This includes, but is not limited to, the delivery of internally managed schemes and the promotion of external opportunities. You will be responsible for processing short‑term paperwork, bursary payments and maintaining up‑to‑date and accurate records. You will also provide one‑to‑one tailored student support before, during and after mobility and deliver promotion of short‑term mobility opportunities across the University. This is a unique opportunity to join our vibrant and hard‑working team at the heart of UCL’s busy student‑facing support service.
About you
The successful candidate will have relevant experience in a customer‑focused or student support environment within a higher education institution. They will have experience processing paperwork accurately and efficiently, with excellent attention to detail. They will also have experience working with social media and/or a website content management system and will have a sensitive and responsive approach to students, alongside a high level of customer care.
