Communications Officer (Student recruitment)

About the role
Working closely with academic and professional service colleagues, this role supports the Faculty’s student recruitment and marketing activities in line with the wider UCL strategy. The postholder contributes to the development and delivery of recruitment campaigns and communications through a wide range of activities including digital marketing, social media, copywriting and editing, website management, email marketing, content creation, and the coordination of online and in‑person recruitment events. The role also supports wider Faculty communications activity, ensuring all content is engaging, accessible and aligned with UCL’s brand and regulatory requirements.
This role is offered on a full‑time, permanent basis. The deadline for application is 05 July 2026.
About you
We are looking for an experienced communications professional with expertise in delivering successful communications strategies and experience in developing content for social media in a professional setting. Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, flawless grammar and spelling, and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
You will be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to build effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the Faculty. A proactive approach, strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines are essential, alongside a commitment to teamwork and delivering high‑quality student recruitment communications and marketing activity.
