About the role

Please note this is a 13 month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work in partnership with the Professional Services Hub and play a key role in delivering two significant programmes working to enhance our Payroll Service and staff visa compliance ways of working. You will be part of UCL’s Strategic Change division and be matrix managed by the Programme Manager in the Professional Services Hub. Working closely with Continuous Improvement Managers, Business Analysts and subject matter experts, you will lead the design and delivery of change management approaches that help ensure changes to ways of working, processes and technology are understood, adopted and successfully sustained.

You will apply a range of change management techniques to support implementation and help programmes realise their intended benefits; including:

  • Stakeholder analysis
  • Change impact assessment
  • Readiness assessment
  • Coordinating learning, guidance and training activities
  • Communications planning and creation

This is an opportunity to contribute directly to high-profile initiatives that strengthen compliance, reduce risk and improve services across the university. Please note this role is not eligible for a skilled worker visa.

About you

You will have experience of delivering change management activities within a large and complex organisation and be confident applying change management techniques across a range of initiatives. You will bring strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence, coach and gain buy-in from colleagues at all levels. An appreciation of behavioural factors that influence adoption and implementation would be advantageous.

You will be experienced in change impact assessment, readiness management, transition delivery and adoption planning. Experience of supporting the development and deployment of learning, guidance or training materials to support organisational change would be advantageous. You should be comfortable working in both agile and waterfall delivery environments. You will be highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and use sound judgement in complex or ambiguous situations. You will enjoy working collaboratively with programme teams, subject matter experts and operational stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
