An advanced aerospace and autonomous systems organisation is looking for a UxS Technologist to support the development and integration of next-generation uncrewed and autonomous platforms. This is a hands-on engineering and R&D role working across autonomy, avionics, systems engineering and emerging technologies. You’ll help bridge the gap between concept and operational capability, supporting the development of future UAS platforms in a fast-moving technical environment. This will be in a new division within this organisation, working on platforms that will help shape the future of the industry.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Researching and evaluating emerging UxS technologies
  • Supporting systems integration and technical development activities
  • Prototyping, experimental testing and engineering trials
  • Working across autonomy, sensing and flight systems
  • Supporting technical documentation, bids and innovation projects

Key Experience Needed

  • Background in UAS, robotics, avionics or autonomous systems
  • Strong systems engineering or autonomy understanding
