Responsibilities include reviewing and prioritising changes and communicating the potential impacts clearly, ensuring adequate testing of changes in order to minimise change related service outages and ensure the impact is truly understood. Meticulously validating and assessing the risk and impact of all changes, with a focus on complex changes, ensuring correct stakeholders are identified and engaged to ensure the integrity of the services provided and with documented instructions and back out plans in place. Liaising with Incident Management for potential complex Emergency changes, joining technical bridge calls when required and administering the Emergency Change process. Assisting in developing policies, processes and procedures in line with best practice to deliver quality services. Investigating non-compliance of the Change assurance policies and processes, intervening and chairing discussions where appropriate to improve adherence by all stakeholders.
