Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and prioritising changes and communicating the potential impacts clearly.
  • Ensuring adequate testing of changes in order to minimise change related service outages and ensure the impact is truly understood.
  • Meticulously validating and assessing the risk and impact of all changes, with a focus on complex changes.
  • Ensuring correct stakeholders are identified and engaged to ensure the integrity of the services provided with documented instructions and back out plans in place.
  • Liaising with Incident Management for potential complex Emergency changes, joining technical bridge calls when required and administering the Emergency Change process.
  • Assisting in developing policies, processes and procedures in line with best practice to deliver quality services.
  • Investigating non-compliance of the Change assurance policies and processes, intervening and chairing discussions where appropriate to improve adherence by all stakeholders.
