We are the UK Business Angels Association (UKBAA), the national trade body for angel and early stage investing. We work with start-ups, scale ups and investors and aim to:
- Improve connectivity for our industry by holding multiple flagship events throughout the year and through the development of online platforms.
- Train and support our industry with training and awareness workshops, best-practice guides, a new e-learning course and face-to-face support.
- Protect and represent our community through nationwide research projects, working groups and round tables and responses to key government white papers.
Your role will involve:
- Owning and leading our key flagship annual events (full day symposium, Awards Gala Dinner, and our two regional summits), and our ad-hoc events (including webinars, networking socials, and seminars).
- Initiating and nurturing partnerships with ecosystem stakeholders to amplify UKBAA's brand and reach.
- Overseeing logistics end-to-end, from speaker and sponsor management to seamless on-the-day execution.
- Supporting a thriving ecosystem by delivering high-quality partner events, including pitch showcases, skills workshops, and thought-leadership panels.
- Collaborating with the marketing function to craft compelling event content, websites, and promotional campaigns.

Experience & Skills
- Proven experience managing end-to-end event production, from concept to delivery, through to post-event wrap-up.
- Confident in liaising with high-profile speakers and sponsors.
- The ability to engage and sell to our key partners and new audiences.
- Strong copywriting and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficient in sourcing venues, negotiating rates, and managing supplier relationships.
- Skilled in budget creation and financial reporting.
