Main Responsibility
Originate and execute Commercial Retail Credit proposals while managing client and introducer relationships to ensure successful transaction delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Source Commercial Real Estate proposals up to £20M and Development Finance proposals up to £10M.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, accountants, solicitors, valuers, and other introducers to generate business.
- Conduct initial assessment, risk review, and site visits where required; recommend proposals for Credit approval.
- Present shortlisted cases to the Credit team and relevant committees in a timely manner.
- Manage and track the lending pipeline to achieve disbursement targets.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities or risk areas.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal credit policies.
- Deliver credit training to branches and support the CBO in Retail Credit operations.
- Liaise with solicitors, valuers, and internal teams to ensure smooth approval, disbursement, and post-disbursement processes.
- Present new and existing product proposals to Risk and UK management committees as required.
