Job Description:
The salary for this role is £27,202. Onsite working is expected for 3 days a week, however, we actively support requests for flexible working.
This role can be based at any of the following sites: Culham, Oxfordshire.
This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions and possibly a search of open source data.
The Role
Join our team as an Administrator for the Business Development and Innovation Departments of UKAEA, supporting daily operations such as managing purchases, recruitment, travel bookings, diary management, visitor logistics, and secretarial support. Act as a primary contact for internal and external queries, ensuring operational efficiency and supporting the division\’s growth.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Providing professional secretarial/administrative support to the division.
- Organising calendars, events, travel, and taking meeting minutes.
- Arranging training, meetings, visits, and activities using provided tools and systems.
- Managing purchases, including orders, authorisations, and records.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Grade 4 GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent.
- NVQ Level 3 in business administration or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
