Background

UK Athletics is seeking to appoint a Chair for the UKA Athletes Commission.

Objectives of the Commission

  • Raise and advise UKA on key issues affecting athletes and the sport.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to the UKA Board and Performance Team.
  • Promote and uphold the values of UK Athletics.

Purpose of Role

In line with the Terms of Reference (ToR) for the group, as the Chair, you will lead the Commission, liaise closely with the UKA leadership team, and represents athlete views to the UKA Board and UK Members. As the lead figure, you will ensure that the Commission is operating within and adhering to the ToR as appropriate.
