WGM Engineering, part of RSK Group, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. This hybrid role is based in Glasgow, Scotland, with a typical split between home and office working. This is a unique opportunity to join one of Scotland's leading engineering solution providers operating across major projects throughout the UK.

The overall purpose of the role is to provide commercial support across all business streams concerning financial and contractual matters arising through the management of various contracts and projects. Offering support to the business streams you will provide advice to allow projects to be delivered on time and to budget. You will liaise with clients and external parties on commercial issues such as contract agreement of variations, claims and payments. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director.
- Provide commercial support across all business streams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Minimise project costs while maximising value without compromising quality.
- Manage change control processes, including compiling compensation event costs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within engineering or construction.
- Strong understanding of contract documents, scopes of work and drawings.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple project teams.
