Deadline 28 Sep 2025. Organisation: We The Curious. Job title: Assistant Producer: Communities. Location: Bristol. Salary: £28,521 per annum. Please note, until 31 March 2026, the salary is £30,059 per annum to reflect the line management responsibility.
This role is a proactive, practical position which works to share the We The Curious experience with the widest possible audience, both inside and outside our building.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain diverse community relationships across the city and work with local partners to better understand their needs.
- Develop playful and accessible experiences for the public that cultivate curiosity.
- Identify opportunities to progress community relationships and support the development of collaborative projects that offer deeper and more sustained engagement.
- Create space for underrepresented voices in STEM to be heard through outreach and programming.
Context and Department
This role is based in our Content Department, which is at the forefront of how our audiences engage with us. We are responsible for the creation, development and delivery of content for our public and education programmes, special projects, digital outputs and exhibitions. We work closely with our Commercial Operations, Audience and Inclusion teams.
