The Opportunity
With a proud heritage and an exciting future, we are now seeking an ambitious and commercially-minded Head of Begg & Co to drive the next phase of growth for the brand.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Commercial & Innovation, this newly defined leadership role offers a rare opportunity to shape the future of an iconic brand that is poised for expansion. You will have overall responsibility for the commercial performance of Begg & Co, leading our wholesale, retail, marketing and e-commerce activities while helping to build the foundations for sustained, long-term growth.
This is a highly visible leadership role with the autonomy to make a real impact. In your first 12 months, your priority will be to bring stability, clarity and focus to the business, evaluating what is working well, identifying opportunities for improvement, reviewing structures and routes to market, and creating a platform for ambitious future growth.
You will lead a talented team across commercial, e-commerce, marketing and retail functions, working closely with colleagues throughout the Group and building strong relationships with agents, distributors and customers worldwide. International travel will be a regular feature of the role, alongside frequent visits to our mills and UK operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the commercial strategy for Begg x Co.
- Drive growth across wholesale, retail and e-commerce channels.
- Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team, creating alignment around shared objectives.
- Review and optimise routes to market, agent networks and commercial partnerships.
- Ensure collections are positioned effectively for target customer segments and key markets.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen brand performance and profitability.
- Build strong relationships with international partners, agents and key customers.
- Provide strategic leadership while retaining a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach.
Candidate Requirements
Experience within manufacturing, textiles, luxury goods or lifestyle brands would be advantageous, but is not essential. What matters most is your ability to lead, grow and commercialise a premium brand.
You are likely to bring:

- Strong e-commerce experience and understanding of digital growth channels.
