Shifts: 19:00 – 07:30 | Average 43.75 hours per week | 3 nights one week, 4 the next

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you’ll be a constant, caring presence during the night, helping our clients feel safe, supported, and heard. Whether it’s offering a listening ear, helping someone through a restless night, or ensuring medication is administered correctly you’ll be a vital part of someone’s healing process.

Your Nightly Role in Recovery:
- Offer guidance and support throughout the night, promoting safety and comfort
- Help clients maintain their recovery goals and uphold community rules
- Assist with medication prompts and accurate record-keeping
- Ensure clients are prepared for the day ahead, from early starts to important appointments
- Support risk assessments and liaise with the day team to ensure continuity of care
- Monitor and record any significant events or concerns through the night
- Be a friendly, calm, and empathetic point of contact when it’s needed most
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Calm under pressure, especially during challenging situations
- A natural listener with a compassionate, non-judgemental approach
- Competent with IT tasks (Google, Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience in support, care, or recovery settings is desirable – but heart and attitude are just as important
