Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour

Location: Liberty House, Luton, Bedfordshire

Shifts: Saturday and Sunday 09:30am – 13:30pm

At Liberty House, we\’re seeking a dedicated Weekend Housekeeper to join our friendly team. You will ensure our centre is clean, safe, and comfortable, helping residents feel at home and focus on their wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep our centre spotless by cleaning communal areas, bedrooms, and preparing rooms for new residents
  • Sort laundry and ensure linens and towels are fresh
  • Follow daily cleaning schedules and use products safely
  • Wear PPE and adhere to health & safety and infection control guidelines
  • Contribute to a positive environment for residents and staff

Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Friendly, approachable, and good communicator
  • Organised, reliable, and self-motivated
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Open to training

Desirable

  • Previous housekeeping or laundry experience
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel)
  • Food hygiene or cleaning-related qualifications
