Location: Banbury Lodge, Banbury, Oxfordshire
Salary: Β£13.50 per hour
Friday β Sunday 08:00 β 18:00 (10 hour shift, 1 hour unpaid break)

About the Role
As a Chef at Banbury Lodge, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals that contribute to a nutritious and well-balanced diet for our clients. Our menus are carefully designed to offer variety and cater to different dietary needs. Additionally, as Banbury Lodge specialises in Eating Disorder treatment, you will receive tailored training to ensure you can accommodate all dietary requirements effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare menus in collaboration with the Centre Manager, ensuring a variety of choices, including vegetarian options.
- Accommodate religious, cultural, and therapeutic dietary needs, as advised by healthcare professionals.
- Prepare meals that are nutritious, appealing, and well-balanced.
- Ensure all kitchen hygiene, health and safety, and food safety regulations are met.
- Supervise residents in laying tables, washing up, and maintaining a clean kitchen as part of their therapeutic duties.
- Report any faulty appliances, damaged equipment, or potential hazards to the Centre Manager or Maintenance Team.
- Work both independently and as part of a team, maintaining a high standard of service.
- Undertake additional training and development opportunities to enhance your role.
