Waking Night Support Worker – Primrose Lodge (Addiction Recovery)
Location: Guildford
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Average 43.75 hours per week
Working pattern: Week 1 – 3 nights, Week 2 – 4 nights (rolling rota)

Primrose Lodge, part of the UK Addiction Treatment Group (UKAT), is seeking a compassionate and reliable Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in Guildford. This is a vital role that helps provide stability, safety, and emotional support to our residents during overnight hours.

What you’ll do:
- Provide a reassuring presence and emotional support to clients overnight
- Conduct regular wellbeing checks and respond to client needs promptly
- Complete detailed handovers and maintain accurate records and logs
- Carry out security and health & safety checks throughout the night
- Work closely with the day team to ensure continuity of care
Working Hours:
- 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Rolling rota: 3 nights one week, 4 nights the following week
- Average of 43.75 hours per week
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working in a support or care setting is desirable but not essential – we provide full training
- Someone calm, empathetic, and resilient, especially in crisis situations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to promoting dignity, respect, and recovery
