Responsibilities

  • Assist the Branch Manager with achieving branch sales, margin, and targets.
  • Ensure first‑class service to all customers.
  • Drive the branch team to focus on excellent customer service and communication.
  • Drive the branch team to achieve sales and promotional targets.
  • Manage and control branch and running costs.
  • Manage stock control, including stock taking and adjustments.
  • Manage cash handling and control of specific customer accounts.
  • Support senior management in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures.
  • Communicate key aims and objectives to the team.
  • Hold responsibility for the daily running of all aspects of the branch.
  • Maintain health and safety within the depot.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience as an Assistant Branch Manager or Motor Factor Parts Advisor.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve objectives.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels.
  • Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Experience using online and Windows‑based cataloguing systems.
  • Leadership ability to create a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
