Responsibilities
- Assist the Branch Manager with achieving branch sales, margin, and targets.
- Ensure first‑class service to all customers.
- Drive the branch team to focus on excellent customer service and communication.
- Drive the branch team to achieve sales and promotional targets.
- Manage and control branch and running costs.
- Manage stock control, including stock taking and adjustments.
- Manage cash handling and control of specific customer accounts.
- Support senior management in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures.
- Communicate key aims and objectives to the team.
- Hold responsibility for the daily running of all aspects of the branch.
- Maintain health and safety within the depot.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience as an Assistant Branch Manager or Motor Factor Parts Advisor.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve objectives.
- Strong communication skills at all levels.
- Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Experience using online and Windows‑based cataloguing systems.
- Leadership ability to create a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Sales‑focused with a can‑do attitude.
- Excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills.
- Knowledge of the local area and customer base is desirable.
