Alliance Automotive Group UK & Ireland is a leading distributor of passenger and commercial vehicle parts to motor factors, garages, franchise networks and public services throughout the UK and Ireland. Our strategically designed network positions us as a market leader in providing automotive parts distribution services to the aftermarket.

An opportunity has arisen to join our Workshop Pro Garage Equipment team. Alliance Automotive Group are looking to recruit an experienced workshop equipment sales specialist to cover the North of England area and Scotland. Working closely with your Sales Manager, your diary will take you around the region visiting automotive workshops and automotive stores. Your task is to take on leads, provide the best capital equipment solution for each customer’s requirements and close the sale.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting your Field Sales Manager by delivering sales growth across your region and liaising with customers, our branch network, local management team and suppliers.
  • Overseeing the sales process from lead through to install and invoicing; effective communication is key.
  • Delivering significant workshop equipment sales growth through 2026 and beyond.
  • Ensuring highest levels of customer service are delivered, contributing to industry-leading levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with all current promotional offers and workshop equipment brochures.
  • Attending trade shows, regional sales meetings and supplier workouts as required.

Essential Requirements

  • Impeccable telephone manner, excellent communication, customer service and sales skills.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships.
  • The ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Excellent organisational, diary planning, IT and time-management skills.
  • Previous experience providing workshop equipment solutions, understanding of key product ranges and suppliers will be of distinct benefit.
