Alliance Automotive Group UK & Ireland is a leading distributor of passenger and commercial vehicle parts to motor factors, garages, franchise networks and public services throughout the UK and Ireland.
We operate a nationwide network supported by over 300 local stores, 20 regional distribution centres, and a 1 million square foot National Distribution Centre, with a workforce of over 6,000 colleagues.
We are seeking a Product Manager to join our busy team at the Milton Keynes head office. We offer a competitive salary and value experience in a similar background.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete product lifecycle from introduction to range adjustment and timely removal from stock.
- Maintain product and price files.
- Implement and maintain optimal stock levels, including internal redistribution of stock.
- Forecast stock requirements.
- Negotiate with suppliers and conduct supplier benchmark analyses including pricing and cross-referencing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers; work closely with Buyers to re-source out-of-stock items.
- Oversee supplier stock cleanses.
- Provide the Purchasing Manager with regular KPI information on stock.
- Handle technical queries and support the Marketing team to promote internal and external brand awareness.
- Act on all Lost Sales logged within your portfolio and provide a response to branches.
- Monitor branch Bought Out Parts to assess regional sales potential for stocking.
Qualifications
- Strong level of computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in the Automotive Aftermarket.
- High level of commercial awareness.
- Team player with high-quality written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle components.
- Experience using MAM Autopart.
