NAPA Auto Parts Commercial is the CV division of Alliance Automotive Group, comprising over 30 branches who provide commercial vehicle parts, tools & equipment to all segments of the automotive industry. These include independent repair centres, national retailers, fast‑fit chains, fleet operators, leasing companies, fleet maintenance companies, and emergency service fleets.

We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM).

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships within the targeted territory.
  • Build sales strategies and tactics within the required territory.
  • Communicate effectively with Branch, Regional and Senior Management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, field‑based trainers and product managers.
  • Effectively analyse business intelligence software.
  • Influence branch management and sales team.

Qualifications

  • Customer‑focused approach with excellent selling skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all customer groups and build strong relationships across the region.
  • Dynamic and performance‑oriented individual with strong negotiation and selling skills.
  • Commercial awareness and good knowledge of competitor activity and market conditions.
  • Extensive experience with customer account management.
  • Previous experience delivering sales and margin growth within a business‑to‑business environment.
  • Experience in finding and developing new business.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong training and presentation skills.
  • Work well under pressure towards deadlines.
