You will work in our product databases, enabling us to produce vehicle application catalogues (EPC) that are complete, consistent and highly accurate, making it easy for customers to find the right parts they need. Your communication skills will allow you to liaise between departments, respond to queries, and ensure launches are delivered on time, while working efficiently with data to fulfill research, reporting, and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

  • Catalogue production and ongoing improvement.
  • Combine data from multiple sources to expand catalogue information.
  • Generate additional product information and fitment notes through research and analysis.
  • Create specific output formats for various platforms, including websites and proprietary systems.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in catalogue production, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyse cross‑reference data across competitors and validate gaps.
  • Run import/export routines and procedures in databases to update company systems and websites.
  • Use Excel to extract data for reporting functions and perform analysis.
  • Investigate product queries via external websites and other sources, gathering application information to update the catalogue.
  • Produce reports on vehicle parc trends, warranty rates, cross‑reference gaps, and other areas using Excel.
  • Plan and organise tasks between departments to maintain system updates.
  • Proactively identify and resolve catalogue errors, highlighting issues to prevent future problems.
  • Collaborate with product teams and other departments to gather and store supplier information.
  • Rename, resize, and watermark catalogue images using software tools.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience as an automotive aftermarket/main dealer parts adviser.
  • Proficiency with cataloguing systems (MAM Autocat, TecDoc, Partslink24, Dealer EPC, Elcome Xchecker).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Minimum 3 years experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook).
  • Analytical skills.
  • Understanding of automotive components and technical information.
