Gamekeeper – North Uist Estate

North Uist Estate are looking for an enthusiastic, conscientious person who has a wide range of interests and abilities to join our team. The Gamekeeper will assist the Head Keeper on our shoots, general maintenance tasks and be involved in developing the Estate\’s other sporting and environmental interests.

Applicants should have good communication skills, enthusiasm and be self‑motivated and safety‑aware which are essential skills in managing the land, sportings and supporting our crofting community. It would be preferable to have had previous experience in a similar role.

Please note: The estate does not engage in the rearing and release of pheasant or grouse etc.

Accommodation with dog kennels is provided.

Ranger – 2026 Season

We are looking for a motivated, personable Ranger to join our team for the 2026 season. This is a varied, hands‑on outdoor role combining animal care, visitor engagement, and estate management. You will play a key role in caring for our Highland cattle, carrying out ranger checks across the estate, and delivering guided walks to the public.
