The Role
As a Sales Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for customers who have registered for free insurance but not for additional insurance. There's no cold calling - every person you speak to has returned an application form and is expecting your call. You'll follow a clear, proven script to guide your conversations, making it easy to build trust and explain our products in simple, straightforward terms. The script gives you structure, while still allowing you to bring your own personality and rapport‑building skills to the call.
Day to day, you will:
- Call new customers to set up the free insurance policy they've opted in for and warmly introduce our better, paid‑for policies in a compliant way
- Use our script to explain product features clearly and handle common questions confidently
- Guide customers through our simple, guaranteed acceptance application process
- Work towards achievable targets that reward quality conversations and successful sales
- Use our CRM system to manage leads and keep your records up to date
This is a role where your communication skills and customer focus will shine. You'll spend most of your day on the phone, supported by friendly managers, a collaborative team, and ongoing coaching. Training doesn't stop after induction – you'll continue to receive one‑to‑one support and feedback to help you grow your skills and maximise your earning potential. Because the hours are set and sociable, you can enjoy a strong work/life balance while building a rewarding career in financial services. Many of our consultants join without prior experience in insurance or sales and go on to achieve excellent results and long‑term progression within the company.
Who We’re Looking For
We'll give you all the product and sales training you need. What matters most is your attitude and people skills. You'll thrive in this role if you are:
- An excellent communicator with strong listening skills
- Confident, enthusiastic and motivated to succeed
- Resilient and target‑driven, but always customer‑focused
- Open to feedback and keen to grow your skills
- Loyal, dedicated and a genuine team player
Application Process
We like to keep things simple and supportive, so you always know what to expect:
- CV Screening – Our Recruitment Team will review your application and be in touch if you've been shortlisted.
- Initial Interview – A friendly 15–20‑minute telephone or video interview with our Recruitment Team to get to know you better.
- Final Interview – A one‑hour interview with members of our Sales Management Team, where you'll learn more about the role and we'll learn more about you.
We run set induction and start dates each month, so if you're successful, you'll quickly have a clear timeline for when your journey with us will begin.
