About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Disrepair Site Manager to oversee the delivery of disrepair and responsive repair works across our social housing contracts in East London.
You will be responsible for managing a team of directly employed operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the highest quality standards.
The role requires excellent stakeholder management skills, including regular engagement with residents, clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of Health & Safety, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
- Effectively manage a team of 10+ direct labour operatives and supply chain partners.
- Conduct regular site visits, quality inspections and post-work assessments to ensure works are completed to specification.
- Manage the delivery of disrepair works, ensuring contractual obligations, timescales and quality standards are consistently met.
- Monitor compliance, identifying and resolving issues promptly to minimise risk and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with residents throughout the works process, providing updates and ensuring any vulnerabilities or support requirements are appropriately addressed.
- Coordinate works using the company's works management system, working closely with planning, administration and commercial teams.
- Support subcontractors, suppliers and operatives to ensure smooth delivery and completion of works.
- Prepare and submit quotations using the National Housing Federation (NHF) Schedule of Rates, ensuring value for money and commercial accuracy.
- Manage works in progress (WIP), attending client meetings and providing regular performance updates to key stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, complaints and defects to achieve successful outcomes for residents and clients.
- Ensure all documentation, records and compliance requirements are maintained accurately and in a timely manner.
- Drive high levels of customer service, resident satisfaction and operational performance across all projects.
