The Repairs / Disrepair Supervisor will oversee a team of direct labour operatives and subcontractors providing repair and disrepair services across North Counties, Reading, Oxford, Milton Keynes and Northampton.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee work progress according to plans, schedules, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and compliance.
  • Assist and support subcontractors, clients and suppliers with completion of works.
  • Communicate with residents to ensure support and coordination of works.
  • Coordinate with office teams and use the works management system.
  • Perform in-person and desktop inspections.
  • Prepare quotes for clients and ensure value for money using the National Housing Federation Schedule of Rates.
  • Provide updates to key stakeholders and attend WIP meetings when appropriate.
  • Motivate the team to maintain a positive work ethic, efficiency, quality and safety.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience in a supervisory role in the construction or repair sector.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage a team of more than ten operatives and various supply chain partners.
  • Experience with works management systems is preferred.
