Job Summary

Commercial Assistant – part of a fast‑growing division, supporting the commercial team across the full lifecycle of each project, from measuring completed works to approving subcontractor supply chain applications.

Responsibilities

  • Contract management in line with JTC, NEC 3/4 (Options A & C)
  • Subcontractor negotiations, payments, and performance tracking
  • Deliver accurate and timely completed‑works measures and billing processes
  • Produce monthly Cost‑Value Reconciliation and generate Earned‑Value Analysis reports, while maintaining robust commercial documentation

Qualifications

  • Experience in NHF SoR rates or similar bespoke SoR rates
  • Familiarity with the construction industry
  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 9‑4, including Maths, English, and ideally a Science
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong numerical, analytical, attention to detail, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines and work collaboratively in a team
  • Driving licence, UK and flexibility to travel
