Position: Programme Planner – Social Infrastructure, United Infrastructure.
Location: Swanley/Dartford area, with occasional travel between sites.
Overview: United Infrastructure is a rapidly expanding business delivering critical infrastructure projects in the utility and social sectors. This hybrid Programme Planner role supports bid and operational teams, with a 65:35 split in favour of bid work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build detailed pre‑construction and construction programmes aligned to key tender stage requirements.
- Agree deliverability of schemes with operations teams and manage detailed programmes within operational teams.
- Submit regular programme updates to Operations and Commercial managers in line with contractual requirements.
- Assess and report on risks and delays, incorporating them into the project schedule.
- Liaise with on‑site operations teams to understand resource profiles and productivity assumptions.
- Identify and manage critical path, mitigating slippage with the wider team.
- Collaborate with quantity surveyors and commercial teams to align programmes with commercial forecasting.
- Own, update and drive resolution of risk & Issue logs.
- Conduct programme review sessions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and implement efficiencies and improvements in internal and external processes.
- Ensure programme submissions comply with contractual guidelines.
- Build strong client relationships and represent the company brand professionally.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in Programme Planning within Social Housing projects.
- Detail‑oriented, analytical and able to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
