This privately owned business has two successful womenswear brands, selling direct to a loyal and growing customer base in the UK, US and Europe. They are now seeking a Wovens Product Developer to join their small team with a flat structure in their design and marketing office based in South West London. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a growing business in a dynamic environment.
Product Developer - The Role:
- You will be responsible for managing the development process for all woven products across both brands from design to fit approvals.
- Taking the design packs from the design team and managing the whole process from concept to delivery.
- Ensuring that all shoot samples will be delivered on time and bulk product will be shipped on time.
- Solving critical path issues, understanding supply chain variables.
- Developing strong relationships with and negotiating prices with suppliers.
Product Developer - The Candidate:
- Ideally you will have at least 5 years of experience in woven product development, design, technology or product management.
- Previous experience in high quality womenswear would be an advantage.
- Great team player, excellent communication and numeracy skills.
- Prepared to work extra hours when necessary to meet business needs.
- Accurate, meticulous, organised and proactive.
