As a Private Client Manager your typical daily duties will include:
- Managing a team of four who are responsible for the preparation of tax returns and general compliance for a diverse range of clients including high net worth individuals and non‑residents.
- Taking responsibility for a portfolio of your own that consists of clients that are more complex or just generally more demanding.
- Supervising the annual cycle of ERS / ATED / EMI40 returns.
- Assisting with advisory assignments at a level appropriate to your technical knowledge and experience, and supporting the team as required with general personal tax queries.
- Proactively identifying tax planning and advisory opportunities within your portfolio and work with senior colleagues to deliver solutions.
Working arrangements:
- The working week: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday) to be worked from 09:00-17:30 with flexibility of hours to meet specific work demands.
Qualifications:
- CTA qualified or equivalent.
- Strong experience in private client tax.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients independently.
- Experience reviewing tax returns and mentoring junior staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, organised, and client‑focused approach.
- Experience of using CCH.
