Responsibilities:
- Complete waste audits (including healthcare waste) within various locations in SGH and PAH using a mobile device/laptop.
- Ensure audits are completed within agreed timescales.
- Communicate with staff at various levels, including matrons, ward staff and contractors.
- Auditing health care waste across the trust.
- Use a VDU to complete waste audits and create audit result reports.
- Provide operational support to colleagues if required, as directed by the Line Manager.
- Attend any meetings relevant to the role.
- Participate in the induction of new staff within the team, sharing knowledge and expertise of the administrative processes and functions.
- Be proficient in the use of all electronic systems in relation to the role and undertake training as required if new technology/systems are introduced, to ensure competencies are maintained.
- Maximise efficiencies of the administrative processes following policy/procedure/guidelines.
