With strong market presence across the UK and international student markets, we work closely with accommodation providers, student societies, universities and local student benefit partners to deliver both housing solutions and student lifestyle experiences.
We are looking for a commercially minded and highly organised UK Marketing Manager to supervise and lead our UK-based international marketing team, supporting UK and European market growth, user acquisition, community engagement, and cross-channel marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities
- UK and European Market Growth Strategy
- Develop and execute local marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, lead generation, and booking conversion within the UK and European market.
- Identify new user acquisition opportunities through both online and offline channels to expand UK domestic and European market.
- Support seasonal campaigns including: intake campaigns, accommodation launches, university open days, welcome events, graduation season activities etc.
- Team Management & Performance Supervision
- Manage and supervise the daily performance of the UK Marketing Specialist team.
- Ensure team members meet monthly KPIs across: lead-generation driven content production, digital marketing, event organization, cross-industry partnerships, etc.
- Monitor performance metrics, incentive achievement, and workflow execution based on company performance policies.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development planning.
- Coordinate task allocation across different marketing functions including: social media/ short video/live streaming/ offline events in universities and student accommodations/ partnership development etc.
- Social Media & Content Operations
- Supervise localised content production across platforms including TikTok, Instagram UK accounts, Rednote, YouTube.
- Hands-on execution to ensure consistent publishing schedules and content quality standards.
- Guide the team in creating: short-form videos, student interviews, student lifestyle content, property showcases, live streaming sessions.
- Offline Events
- Lead planning and execution of UK and EU based offline activations including: student accommodation events, university road show, app registration events etc.
- Ensure events support both: community engagement, measurable lead generation, manage budgets, logistics, venue coordination, and event reporting.
- Partnership & Business Development
- Build and maintain relationships with: student unions, student societies, accommodation providers, local businesses, KOLs/influencers, cross-industry partners.
- Explore partnership opportunities that support: traffic exchange, brand exposure, lead acquisition, booking conversion.
- Supervise KOL and student ambassador recruitment initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with: UK sales teams, different regional marketing teams, China HQ marketing teams to ensure market alignment and lead generation performance.
- Coordinate integrated campaigns across multiple regions and source markets.
Requirements
- Native mandarin speaking and strong English communication skills is required.
- 4+ years experience in marketing communication industry.
- Experience in social media operations and content-driven growth.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Previous experience managing a team or supervising junior staff preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with TikTok, Instagram, Rednote, Meta Ads, or influencer campaigns.
- Experience organising offline events or student/community activations.
- Ability to analyse performance data and optimise campaign effectiveness.
- Experience in student accommodation, education, marketplace platforms is preferred.
