As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Business Development Specialist to expand our property portfolio and strengthen our provider network.
The Business Development Specialist will play a key role in driving the expansion of uhomes. The ideal candidate is proactive, target-driven, and skilled at building strong relationships that translate into long-term business growth.
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing property providers to ensure high satisfaction and long-term collaboration.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and new markets.
- Pass on property knowledge to sales teams located worldwide.
- Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics, pipeline activities, and business development outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategic growth initiatives to increase property supply on the platform.
- Visit properties in person to gather not just factual data but a full sensory impression — what you see, hear, and feel — and translate that into digital content and internal documentation.
- Populate our internal property dictionary and CRM with comprehensive insights to boost sales readiness and property visibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
- Experience in student housing or real estate is required.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or partnership management.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
- Fluency in English.
