Main duties of the job

We have a very exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to join our team.

We can offer you a warm welcome to our Acute Trauma Rehabilitation Unit.

The successful applicant will have good communication skills and should have at least 2 years experience of working in an acute hospital setting ideally within a trauma and orthopaedics or specialised rehabilitation.

The applicant should also have at least 2 years experience looking after level one patients.

We are looking for a committed team player who has high standards and is passionate about improving the patient experience.

Person specification

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse on NMC Register
  • Recognised qualification in teaching and assessing study
  • Mentorship or equivalent

Experience

  • minimum 2 years post registration experience
  • Has experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Experience in level one care
  • Experience in taking charge of the ward
