Our JAG accredited endoscopy service is looking to recruit Band 3 waiting list officers for our dedicated team at Furness General Hospital. The role involves providing efficient administrative support in all aspects of the Endoscopy department’s work under the guidance of the Endoscopy Admin Manager.
Main duties:
- Accurate data input and maintenance of patient information.
- Work in a busy reception area handling phone and face‑to‑face enquiries.
- Book patients from the waiting list and coordinate appointments.
- Prioritise own workload, work independently and manage frequent interruptions.
Requirements & qualifications:
- A sound working knowledge of Office 365 systems (advantage).
- Ability to prioritise workload, work independently and use initiative.
Additional information:
- The post may require Disclosure & Barring Service checking; applicable fees will be paid by the successful applicant.
- Newly appointed staff will complete a satisfactory 6‑month probationary period.
