University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay is expanding its dermatology service and is looking for a Dermatology Specialty doctor with appropriate experience and a strong interest in dermatology. The successful candidate will join a team that has recently achieved high-quality service and will contribute to further developing the specialty and Trust.

Main duties:

  • Provide diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and a wide range of inflammatory dermatoses in adult and paediatric patients.
  • Manage your own clinical workload including two-week wait referrals, new and follow-up patients, and ward referrals.
  • Perform minor operative procedures as required.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development.
  • Support education and training of staff within the department, including opportunities for teaching and academic collaboration with local medical schools.
