We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team on Lancaster Suite in the role of non-clinical support worker. The role involves non-clinical duties that support clinical care delivery; co-ordinating all patient facilities and services within the ward area and ensuring that the ward is a safe, clean, tidy and comfortable environment.

Main duties of the job:

  • To co-ordinate all patient facilities services within the ward area.
  • To ensure that the ward is a safe, clean, tidy and comfortable environment.
  • Ensure that food is available to meet the patients' needs.
  • Liaise with the nursing team when required regarding patients' needs.

Person specification:

  • Have you any previous experience in this type of role?
  • Have you any experience working with patients/clients in a care setting?
  • Have you any qualifications or completed any course such as food safety?
  • Have you any experience with infection control protocols?
