An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Clinical Site Manager at Furness General Hospital. This role is to oversee the clinical and operational management of the hospital on a day-to-day basis. You need to make quick decisions to enhance flow following policies and protocols to enhance the best patient experience.
Main duties of the job:
- Work autonomously and as part of a team with a high level of decision-making authority.
- Be the first point of contact for all external enquiries.
- Work closely with all divisions to ensure national targets are sustained.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership skills, delegate effectively, and work efficiently as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Be reliable, flexible, motivated, and committed to ongoing learning and development.
- Deliver high-quality care and embrace positive change and transformation.
- Work shifts over a 7-day period.
The Matron will work closely with the successful candidate providing development and support.
Person specification:
- 1st level Registered Nurse.
- Mentoring/assessing qualification or teaching qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, Professional Trainers Certificate).
- At least 2 years' experience at band 6 level.
- Evidence of change - Project initiatives and evidence of improving care.
- Recent leadership development or willingness to work towards a leadership qualification.
- Experience of managing rosters/budgets/procurement.
- Experience of managing risk/complaints/grievances.
